Wine Summary
The palate is well balanced with succulent gooseberry and passionfruit characters, fine minerality and a long lingering summer grass finish. The Sauvignon grapes for this wine were grown on the free draining stony loam soils of the Hope Plains, at Brightwater's nearby Sturkenboom and Chisnall vineyards. They provide exciting arrays of intense aromas and flavours. Each block was harvested individually at its optimum level of ripeness.
