John Quarisa is a Jimmy Watson Trophy-winning winemaker, with a "long and distinguished" career (Halliday). Here he's crafted a beautifully rich, lush and full-flavoured Shiraz, a Double-Gold-winning beauty laden with ripe fruits and delicious exotic spice on a smooth, long finish. 30 Mile is named after John Quarisa’s own private waterhole, the place he once swam as a boy. It has grown to be the lifeblood of the vineyards by supplying water to the majestic, aging vines. The 30 Mile range is a tribute to Australia's vital network of rivers and waterways – the lifeblood of Australia.
