Cuvée Prestigieux Côtes du Rhône 2022

In 1911, the Guillot family of Burgundy purchased their first parcel of land in the Rhône Valley and, soon after, their love affair with the region began. Fast forward to today and 4th generation winemaker Laurent Guillot continues to create fantastic wines in both Burgundy and the Rhône Valley. His Cuvée Prestigieux is from fine vineyards close to the prestige appellation of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Powerful, full-bodied Grenache (50%), grown on the warm, stony soils of the Rhône’s left bank, is blended with Syrah (50%) planted on the clay-limestone soils of the right bank. Aromas of bright red fruits, wild herbs and black olives, are followed on the palate by dominant black fruits and fine tannins on a long, elegant finish.
