Sauvignon Blanc Dozen

Save $90 on a wonderful mix of Sauvignon Blancs and intriguing Sauvignon blends from some unexpected quarters. Australia provides a couple of pure beaties from the premium Adelaide Hills region in the popular Ms Sauvignon, and the exceptional Excalibur from Zonte's Footstep, which has Two Trophies, Gold and 94pts to its name. Out in Western Australia the grape's often married with Semillon as in the very pleasing, 91pt Dragonfly from top estate Willow Bridge. There's one more pure SB, in Babale from one of the leading wine producers in Romania, and vineyards first planted in the 15th century. It sings with passionfruit and citrus. Torley Estate, in neighbouring Hungar,y was founded in 1882 and, by 1896, had become a supplier to the imperial and royal court. Quaility is superb as you'll taste in this wonderfully aromatic 'must try’Sauvignon with a dab of local star, floral- and lime-scented Zenit and Viognier. Lastly, head to Argentina where the brilliant 'Opi' Sadler crafts his signature white blending, Sauvignon, Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay for a stunning white brimming with peach and a hint of honeysuckle.
