Beyond the Labels
Spain and Australia share a lot in common; long sunny days, beautiful rolling vineyards, and talented winemakers who have mastered the crafting of ripe, generous, well-balanced Rosé. Enjoy a trio made from Grenache, while Shiraz, Sangiovese and Petit Verdot leads the other. All have plenty of 'glass appeal'.
This is quite simply the best-value pink in our range. It’s a classic from Navarra, a region famed for its juicy summer-berry rosados and first choice for Spanish wine lovers. The winery lies up in the hills, so the climate is a little cooler with a serious drop in temperature at night. This increases the time it takes for grapes to ripen - the result is even greater aroma and intense flavours in your glass. Plus, that refreshing zip you want from a pink. It’s made from premium Garnacha grapes, the most important variety for rosado in this region. In charge is Gonzalo Zelayeta, who ensures picking at just the right moment for ripeness and crispness. With bright berry fruit and lemony zip, this pink is perfect solo, with tapas or seafood.
Love a fine pink? Ensure you have the brightest and best in the fridge door... like this strawberry scented stunner from the Barossa Valley and the mighty Black Pig range.
On every bottle of Aleta, you can see a human tower, a daring Catalan tradition drawing thousands of spectators every year. 'Aleta' is the triumphant salute of the enxaneta (the person who forms the top of the castell) to signal the crowning of the human tower and the start of musical celebrations. The Aleta stands on the shoulders of the unsung heroes who care for the vines and produce this gloriously rich blend, many of whom compete in this centuries old tradition. Aleta is a young rosé perfect for early drinking – strawberries, raspberries and juicy red forest berries. Superb for the warmer weather.
The McPherson family's new Aquarius range is made for enjoying right here, right now. Fresh, vibrant and filled to the brim with flavour, they’re wines to share with fun folk in the mood for good times. Their Rosé is certainly that and more. Lovely strawberry and cream notes with a little zip too!
