Tahbilk, owned by the Purbrick family - a founding member of Australia’s First Families of Wine, has a unique heritage of being the oldest family-owned winery and vineyard in Victoria. <i>“It makes wines – particularly red wines – utterly in keeping with that tradition. The essence… comes from tiny quantities of Shiraz made from vines planted in 1860”</i> (Halliday). Dark plum, blackberry, cassis and a vanillin streak thnaks to time spent in French and American oak.
