The name ‘The Huguenot’ pays tribute to this area’s history, also known as the ‘French corner’ after persecuted French Huguenots settled here in 1688. With them they brought traditional French winemaking techniques and planted vines in Franschhoek’s picturesque, lush valley. Now it boasts a reputation as a premium winemaking region. This is a crisp lemony white with ripe tropical fruit.
