It's from one of Portugal’s top names, José Neiva Correia; a doyen of Portuguese wine with awards galore to his name. Having consulted for many of the country’s top cellars, he now has his own estate. There he combines generations of tradition with an inquisitive spirit undimmed by decades of experience. Using 100% Chardonnay grapes from vineyards close to the coast, his Aluado has ripe peach fruit balanced by a zing of stony crispness. It has won eleven Golds in the past three vintages, and the new 2021 adds another eight! Lovely as a glass on its own, or served with seafood, salmon or chicken dishes.
