Crafted by former Penfolds Grange winemaker Mike Farmilo, the Monterra Sauvignon Blanc might be a world away from Grange, but Farmilo shows his talent and skills are equally equipped at making extraordinary whites. Stylistically dry and crisp, this fine Sauvignon leans back from the overt, tropical styles of warmer climates and nestles into the realm of elegant minerality, vibrant citrus and enticing florals. It pairs well with earthy vegetarian fare, including risotto, hearty chunky soups, and eggplant lasagne.
