While Spanish holidaymakers flock to Valencia’s beaches, the sunny arid hills further inland are a haven of calm. There this varietal ripens to perfection, with cool nights lending balance and finesse.
Winemaker Marta Martinez’s deft touch ensures this ripe, intense red is gorgeously smooth but not overpowering. Previous vintages have secured top international medals and we expect the 2019 to follow suit. Perfect with spicy chorizo and bean stew, roast pork or sausages.
