This Heirloom Vineyards Pinot Grigio was produced from Heirloom Vineyrds' best Adelaide Hills vineyard whose clones and viticulture embody the very best in cutting edge but old school viticulture and winemaking. Hand tended vines, sorted bunch-by-bunch, naturally fermented free run juice, and bottled immediately to retain the purity of the fruit. A rainwater texture and feel at the front palate, followed by a mid palate core of just-ripe Grigio pear and apple fruit flavours; fresh, pert, moreish. The back palate is textural and grainy, with mineral salts ringing out to balance that core of fruit weight. Dry and long in finish: there really is a lot of Pinot Grigio in this Pinot Grigio.
