La Llave Roja Tempranillo Syrah 2019

As a child in Extremadura, Carlos Plaza would wake early during the warm summer months and immediately look to see if the red key was still hanging in place. If it was missing, it meant his father was already hard at work in the winery. Then young Carlos would race to the winery on his bicycle to help. His fascination with the activities there surpassed any desire to play with friends or go to the beach, and now, in his thirties, Carlos makes wines with the same excitement and curiosity he had back then. The red key, La Llave Roja, symbolises his many happy childhood memories. Crafted from Tempranillo and Syrah, this is a luscious red full of berry fruits and spice. Enjoy it alongside a platter of grilled meats, mushrooms and red peppers.
