Sam knows Malbec performs as well in Oz as it does in Argentina, but he adds a sizeable portion of Shiraz and his favourite variety, Durif and ages this for four months in French oak barrels. A smooth, moreish red packed with ripe fruit.

We first met Sam 30+ years back, and have been following him and his wines ever since. They deliver every time with lovely fruity intensity, originality and value. In 2018, he finally decided it was time to return to his roots and his family estate in Griffith. He has nurtured partnerships with long standing grower friends and made us two Salvatore wines, both of which keep winning awards! He is a true genius. In a region famous for the world's finest rosés, we champion the work of Mireille Milliau with this elegant pink. Her grapes are usually blended into some of the most prestigious brand wines, but here, this vintage, they're deliciously bottled solo!

Big names dominate in Provence. They scout the best sites, scoop the finest grapes from small growers, then, sadly, blend them away to fit a house style. But we aren’t about that. When we find great fruit nurtured by exceptional people we don’t whisper, we shout about the grape growing heroes! Usually destined for one of the biggest names in rosé, these star grapes are grown by the talented Mireille Milliau. Thanks to the determination of our buyer, Sarah, she managed to wheedle some of the 2020 and again with the 2021, so you could have a taste of this exquisite pink in solo form. This stylish rosé in its very beautiful bottle is a delicate balance of citrus, subtle berry and floral notes, with a savoury hint.

A new edition to a popular range from the duck-loving (and brilliant) Sam's Trimboli. Deep, dark and very satisfying.

A new member of Sam Trimboli's Duck family, Purple Duck Cabernet joins his Black Duck Durif, White Duck Chardonnay Pinot Grigio combo and Pink Duck rosé. Sam has loved ducks since he was a boy. His first pet was a little duck he led around on a leash like a puppy. He loves the symbolism of the duck: ducks are flexible (they swim, fly and walk), they’re loyal and love family (think mother ducks and their ducklings) and they’re very adaptable. Sam is also a Trophy-winning winemaker and Gold-medal magnet. We would not be surprised if this new Cabernet ends up charming critics and show judges in the same way as his Black White and Pink Duck family members.
