The McPherson team sure know how to produce Aussie Chardonnay with just the right balance of juicy freshness and ripe fruit. Just like its sister Full Fifteen red, this white is a winner. Fresh and peachy with bright lemony zip – a classic.

Andrew McPherson grew up in the world of wine and went on to work for some top names in Australia before setting up his own independent winery. McPherson Wines have cemented themselves a reputation for quality, efficiency and innovation. For a top twenty Aussie winery, they certainly fly under the radar, but that's the way they like it. It allows winemaker Jo Nash and her team to focus on what really matters – making sophisticated wines like The Full Fifteen Chardonnay. It tastes just as good as (if not better) than many Chardonnays twice the price. A small amount of fermentation in oak has lent The Full Fifteen Chardonnay lovely toasty nuances, a nutty complexity and a soft creamy character. Enjoy it with creamy chicken and a side of charred broccolini.

If you’re a fan of super-aromatic, grassy-fresh Sauvignon Blanc, you’re going to love this bristling, crisp white. It’s from a 13th century, family estate in the Côtes de Gascogne, a region in SW France renowned for crisp, excellent value whites.

Verdant, beautiful Gascony has long been famous for its fine Armagnac brandy. Now the region has an even greater reputation for dazzling fresh whites, often using Sauvignon Blanc. The white grape of the moment loves the climate here – just taste the grassy-fresh notes of this delicious 2021 release. You could easily mistake it for the more famous wines of the Loire. It’s from a family estate founded in the 13th century – the medieval watch tower still stands proud, high above the vineyards. Today they have 60 hectares of vines growing a range of native and international white grapes. Cool fermented for extra freshess, this is a deliciously aromatic white, great anytime, particularly in the garden on a warm sunny day, with a light lunch.
