The Wine
A Cabernet-Primitivo blend (60%/40%), including grapes from 80-year-old Cabernet vines. Ripe black and brambly fruits characteristic of sunny Southern Italy stand in line, supported by spicy notes and rustic tannins, creating a beautifully balanced wine. Expect ripe plum, damson, spice box and fruitcake notes. This magnificent wine is from the brilliant Southern Italian winery – Cantine Due Palme. In late 2022, Due Palme was awarded ‘Winery of the Year 2022’ by the most famous Wine Magazine in Italy, Gambero Rosso.
