This lively example is from the Botter family, a third-generation, leading Italian winemaking clan. Traditionally, Prosecco is made entirely from the Glera grape, but the Botter’s have added a rebellious dash of Chardonnay to round out the wine and lend riper, stone fruit flavours. These grapes were sustainably farmed from Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia - two regions famed for their white wines. It’s a Prosecco with a spring in its step that’s bound to raise a smile.
