The Wine
The Scarpantoni brothers of McLaren Vale have won many of Australia’s most prestigious winemaking awards, including the coveted Jimmy Watson Trophy. While the Vale is well-known for its dark, chocolatey Shiraz, visitors are often seen leaving with handfuls of their vibrant whites – like this gorgeous Chardonnay. Classic, ripe Chardonnay flavours of peaches, lychee and melon make this a very lively white wine. The crisp, clean finish makes it the perfect pair to a whole range of white meat dishes.
