Réserve de Luch Pinot Noir 2020

We’ve been working with the highly awarded Bonfils family at Château Millegrand in Minervois for over a decade. Not only are the wines outstanding, they’ve totted up numerous top awards. This is, however, a fabulous Pinot Noir from another of their fine estates, Domaine Luch. There they employ Ivo Hasler, a winemaker with experience gained on five continents, but dedicated to the Languedoc for 15 years now. For this wine he chose grapes from mature 25-year-old vines, handling the fruit with particular care, with a small portion barrel aged for a little extra complexity. All to ensure a gentle, elegant red with lovely silky fruit and a minimum of rounded tannins. Supple enough for solo drinking, or enjoy with chicken or mushroom risotto.
