The Wine

Having consulted for many of the country’s top cellars, he now has his own estate. There he combines generations of tradition with an inquisitive spirit undimmed by decades of experience. Using 100% Chardonnay grapes from vineyards close to the coast, his Aluado has ripe peach fruit balanced by a zing of stony crispness. It won 13 Golds in just two vintages, and the 2023 is every bit as delicious and moreish. Lovely as a glass on its own, or served with seafood, salmon or chicken dishes.
