Trimboli Saverio Big Rivers Malbec 2023

Saviero is a name which runs through many generations of the Trimboli family, most recently from Salvatore (Sam) to his own son. Salvatore’s father Saverio taught Salvatore to make wine, and this brand is a salute to a long-standing family tradition. The wines under this brand all honour Europe’s great family of grape varieties including Malbec, which originated in France. It’s one of the six grapes permitted in Bordeaux, is now more common in South West France, is Argentina’s most famous vinous export and performs excellently in particular arras of Australia too. This is dark-fruited, succulent and very easy to drink.
