Saviero is a name which runs through many generations of the Trimboli family, most recently from Salvatore (Sam) to his own son. Salvatore’s father Saverio taught Salvatore to make wine, and this brand is a salute to a long-standing family tradition.
The wines under this brand all honour Europe’s great family of grape varieties including Vermentino (the Trimboli family was one of the first in NSW to plant this Italian variety). Fresh and crisp with notes of zesty citrus fruits and crushed green apples. Dry, with just a pleasant hint of oily flavours from the ripe fruit. Goes well with dishes featuring herbs and spices. Try with fish dishes, chicken and quail. For vegans and vegetarians, enjoy with roasted vegetable dishes and flavoursome salads.
