The results are in! You voted, we counted and assembled the winners into specially priced cases. Shiraz of course attracted many votes – there are two stars in this winner’s pack. First, mouth-filling Blackstrap, but with genuine superstar status is the incredible Angas King Clare Valley Reserve 2023 which boasts 94pts, Double Gold and a top show ‘Shiraz of the Year’ Trophy as well! There’s fabulous Gold-winning Pastor’s Son Cabernet Sauvignon from one of the Barossa Valley’s best-known estates, Peter Lehmann. It’s one of two lush Cabernets – the other 92pt Fossilbed from the fossil-rich soils of South Australia’s Limestone Coast is a real velvety beauty. International excitement comes in the form of the amazing Vinha do Fava from the Freitas Family estate – Portugal’s most-awarded. This mighty, pure Touriga Nacional has won 34 Golds including Grand Golds and Double Golds, pus a Trophy in 9 vintages. And talking of award winners, Spain’s BACCO Garnacha claimed the final spot – along with its SIX Golds and 92pts! Enjoy two bottles of each.
